About Patanjali Bhati
Patanjali Bhati holds a Bachelors in Visual Arts from the Faculty of Fine Arts, MSU Baroda, India, where she specialized in Applied Arts. At her alma mater Film and Television Institute of India, Pune she Post Graduated in Art Direction in 2010.
Bhati explores themes of the cosmic internal world through her artworks and writing. Pictorially depicting the human experience in its evolutionary essence - exploring the darker feelings of the psyche and its transformation through healing. While the philosophy of Advaita Vedanta and Buddhism have fed her spiritual growth and themes for exploration. Japanese traditional paintings, Zen Calligraphy and their minimalist approach has fed her mark-making and rendition.
She facilitates ‘Meditative Art Workshops and Retreats’ at various levels of modules, with the motivation to introduce the participants with the strength and energy generation in the vastness of the present moment, through gestural stroke painting technique and guided meditation sessions in Plein Air.
